Eventzee Exposure: ATD Southwest Learning Summit

In “Eventzee Exposure” we look at testimonials from happy clients who have hosted their own Scavenger Hunts. Our users’ experience is very important to us, so when things go off without a hitch we want to cheer about it. ATD Dallas LogoHost: Association For Talent Development- Dallas Chapter

Location: Plano, TX

Event Breakdown:
Eventzee partnered with the Dallas Chapter of ATD to create an engaging experience for the attendees of the Southwest Learning Summit. Combining features from both Photo and QR Code Scavenger hunts ATD used Eventzee to test learning comprehension and encourage networking among the attendees. Photo clues were used to create a fun environment for randomly assigned teams throughout the day. QR Codes were placed outside of each presentation and when players scanned it they were quizzed on the lecture they just watched.

Photo Clue Examples:

  • Team Photo- Find as many of your team members as you can at breakfast and take a picture.
  • Friendly Competition – Introduce yourself to opposing team members at breakfast and take a picture with at least one.
  • Perfect Presentation- After your first presentation is complete, take a picture next to the presentation poster outside of the conference room.
  • Vibrant Vendors – Take a picture with a vendor at their booth!
  • Full House – Take a picture of the room full of attendees AFTER your first afternoon session is concluded.
  • Buddy System – Take a picture with a team member during a break.

Weekend Warriors: Week 28 Public Photo Hunt Clues

Another Weekend Warriors free photo scavenger hunt has started! 15 clues will be live until the hunt ends on Sunday at 3 PM CST. Your photo will be either approved or rejected by our admin staff. Be sure to check the cumulative leaderboard so you can see how well you’re doing and remember that tiebreakers are based on the amount of time it takes your to finish all the clues!

  • 5 O’Clock Somewhere… -Take a photo of a clock at 5:00 o’clock.
  • Deck The Falls -It’s officially Autumn in the US. So creatively represent the season- even if it’s not Fall in your country.
  • Tourist Trap -Take a photo of a unique tourism attraction in your town/city.
  • Man + Bun -Take a photo of a man with hamburger bun on his head.
  • Hallmark Hero -Take a photo of a greeting card. The funnier the better.
  • GAME OVER -Recreate a well known video game. Must include the name of the game somewhere in the photo.
  • Hidden in Plain Sight -Take a photo of something/someone in camouflage.
  • C.S.I. -Make a chalk outline of an imaginary murder victim.
  • Alphabet Soup- S -Take a photo of something that starts with an “S”.
  • Bird Watcher -Take a photo of a bird in a tree. Must be outside.
  • Street Vendor -Take a photo of a someone selling something on the streets. Examples include food trucks, hot dog carts, Farmer’s Markets, etc.
  • CAUTION -Find a “Caution” sign/sticker/tape somewhere in public.
  • #ThrowBackThursday -Share a past pic that is in black and white. Must be a print, does not have to be of you. No screenshots allowed.
  • Couch Potato -Creatively represent the saying “Couch Potato.” Photo must include a literal potato and couch.
  • “Kick Me” -Put a “Kick Me” sign on your back. Think anybody will notice?

  • Mannequin- Take a fashionable photo with a department store mannequin.
  • Far-Reaching Feet- Go to a shoe store and try on the biggest shoe size they carry. Must be new shoes.
  • Oktoberfest!- Oktoberfest kicks off worldwide this weekend, so creatively represent the festival.
  • Animal House- Take a photo at a pet store. pound, or animal rescue building.
  • Fill’er Up- Take a photo outside of a gas station. Make sure the fuel pump is in the photo.
  • Alphabet Soup- R- Find something that starts with the letter R.
  • Monster Under The Bed- Be cautious of the Boogeyman and creatively represent a monster under the bed.
  • Shiver Me Timbers!- Argh Matey, Saturday is International Talk Like a Pirate Day and we want to see your best pirate interpretations. Be creative!
  • #ThrowBackThursday- Share a past pic of any significant moment, but this week NO SCREENSHOTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Only actually printed photos. Start digging into that old photo album.
  • Antonyms- Find two distinct objects that are opposite of one another.
  • Global Goodies- Take a photo of candy that is unique to where you live in the world. Include your home country somewhere in the photo.
  • Creative Calendar- Pick a month of the year and creatively represent it in photo form. Make sure to include the month you have chosen in the photo.
  • Criss-Cross Streets- Find two street signs crossing that start with the same letter. Might want to check a map…
  • Retro Rewind- Take a photo of a VHS tape movie box.

  • Boom’n Beats – Take a photo of an old school radio, boombox or stereo. Cannot be a digital music player.
  • Lumberjack’d – Grab your best flannel and head out to the woods. Ax and rugged beard not required, but are encouraged.
  • Unicolor – Wear an outfit of all the same color. Pants, shirt, jacket, etc must all be the same color.
  • Newsworthy – Mockup up a news anchor desk and deliver the news. Be creative!
  • Can Pyramid – How tall of a pyramid can you make out of cans? Take a photo to prove it.
  • Homecoming Mum – Make your own flowery version of this Texas tradition. Don’t know what a homecoming mum is? Do some research!
  • Hair Headquarters – Take a photo at a barbershop/salon. Maybe even go inside to get a trim.
  • Wet N’ Wild Wheel Wash – Take a photo at a car wash or washing your own car. Don’t forget the soap!
  • Alphabet Soup- Q – Find something that starts with the letter Q.
  • Bench Buddies – Take a photo sitting at a public bench with a friend.
  • #ThrowBackThursday – Share a past pic of you with a childhood pet.
  • Personal Paint Party – Show us your painting skills. Here’s the twist: You’re the canvas. Things might get a little messy.
  • Flame Fighters Fortress – Take a photo at a fire station. be sure to commend your local firefighters for their hard work.
  • Essential Emojis – Creatively represent an emojii in real life. Must include a picture of the emoji you’re representing somewhere in the photo.
  • Modern Medieval Mêlées- Creatively represent the medieval sport of jousting. Be creative, but please be safe.

EXTENDED Weekend Warriors: Week 25 Public Photo Hunt Clues

Since American offices will be closed next Monday for Labor Day we’ve extended this weekend’s hunt to Monday at 3 PM CST! With more time to play we’ve also increased the amount of clues to 20.

Your photo will be either approved or rejected by our admin staff. Be sure to check the cumulative leaderboard so you can see how well you’re doing and remember that tiebreakers are based on the amount of time it takes your to finish all the clues!

  • Cardboard Creations – Create something out of cardboard. It can be anything, but it must be creative and altered in some way.
  • Statuesque – Find a statue and mimic their pose. Must include an actual statue in the photo.
  • Dance, Dance Revolution – FREEZE FRAME! Show us your favorite dance move.
  • “X” Marks The Spot – Pretend to hunt for treasure and place an “X” on a spot outside. Your “X” must be located outside.
  • Fountain Of Youth – Take a photo at a large fountain in public.
  • Hotel, Motel – Housekeeping! Take a photo outside of a hotel or motel.
  • Staircase to Heaven- Find a unique staircase in public that is taller than you are.
  • Riddle Me This… – Creatively represent a well known riddle. The riddle must be written out somewhere in the photo.
  • Leaning Tower of Pizza – Pile on the pepperonis and make a tower of pizza. 4-6 slices should do it.
  • GrillMaster – Show us your culinary skills and take a photo cooking something on the grill.
  • Labor. Day. – Take a photo doing some manual labor- construction, yard work, etc.
  • Alphabet Soup- P – Find something that starts with the letter P.
  • Out Of This World – We’re not alone… creatively represent alien life.
  • Bob B. Lehead. – Take a photo of your favorite bobblehead.
  • Sock It To Me – Show us your most fun pair of socks. Basic white socks will not be approved.
  • DumbPhone – Use your SmartPhone to play, but take a photo of a phone that isn’t cellular.
  • CAUTION: MEN AT WORK – Take a photo of a construction site.
  • #ThrowBackThursday – Share a past pic of a family dinner.
  • Thalia and Melpomene – Creatively represent the two masks of Theatre- Comedy and Drama.
  • Zodiac – Creatively express the astrological sign for late August and September.
